If we direct the focus of the play club towards surrealism and the theme of “dream and nightmare”,
it is a logical step, to see the painting “Guernica” as the focal point of the play’s development.
Here, the nightmare of the cruel deed is combined with the stylistic devices of surrealism,
which gives the picture and the subject matter more cruelty.
We have many dreams and longings.
What dreams did the people in Guernica have?
Are they not the same ones that we all still carry within us today?
A longing for love, security, safety and peace?
Wenn wir den Fokus des Spielclubs auf den Surrealismus und die Thematik „Traum und Albtraum“ lenken, ist es ein logischer Schritt, das Bild „Guernica“ als Mittelpunkt der Stückentwicklung zu sehen.
Hier verbindet sich der Albtraum der grausamen Tat mit den Stilmitteln des Surrealismus,
was dem Bild und der Thematik mehr Grausamkeit gibt.
Nicht umsonst trägt dieses Werk den Beinamen „der Albtraum“.
Träume und Sehnsüchte haben wir viele.
Welche Träume hatten die Menschen in Guernica?
Sind es nicht die gleichen, die wir heute alle immer noch in uns tragen?
Sehnsucht nach Liebe, Geborgenheit, Sicherheit und Frieden?
